From "UMa Investiga": The University of Madeira is the Research Center par excellence in the Region. There are many works developed there that do not always have the publicity they deserve. This program aims to make known the work carried out by researchers and students, as well as their involvement with the economic and social fabric of RAM.

This is a joint venture of the Universidade da Madeira and the Health Secretary of the Madeiran Reginal Government that builds on 10 years of hard work of present and past NeuroRehabLab researchers as well as an endless list of health professionals from the SESARAM. This centre consolidates Madeira as a centre for innovation in rehabilitation and quality of life technologies, and aims to project it as a national and international reference centre, while tackling important real-world challenges for the population of Madeira.
